"yeah that is more of Oracles thing...I can scan it but she gets the info and knows what to make of it and I think she is out of commission at the moment" She finds a young woman hiding in her apartment.
"Come on that is not going to get you anywhere" She pulls her up and guides her outside. "how is your end coming gypsy" Dinah continued down the hall

Gypsy furrowed her brow. That was something that just sounded completely out of place from that. "What do you mean Oracle is out of commission?? She's never out of commission!"
Hearing the screaming cries of young children, she kicked open a blocked door only to find the children huddled in a corner of the room. She motioned to the siblings and offered her hands to them. "Everything is okay. you'll be just fine. We have to get out of here quickly. Is there anyone else in here with you?"
The little boy shook his head no. Gypsy frowned.
Picking up the younger girl in her arms she quickly ushered them out of the apartment. "I found two young ones. Seems like some of the residents of the building knows what is going on around them. A lot of them are leaving as I'm rushing past."

"Though I have had a few hits to the head today I am pretty sure I saw her down the alley a little while ago." Dinah stops when she hears some whimpering. She breaks down a door and finds a little girl hiding under a bed.
"Come on sweetie its okay." The little girl runs into her arms. "lets get you out of here" She smiled at her and walked out of the room. It seemed that everyone was out and the building was starting to go.
"gypsy I think we have done all we can, we need to get out'' Canary carried the young girl down the hallway towards the exit.

"Wait a minute.. you mean to tell me you saw Oracle in the alley? What.. would she be doing there? that does not make any sense."
Coughing into her sleeve she rushed the two children outside. "Here, sweetie. Go with your brother." Looking back tot he two kids, she spoke again. "Get as far away from here as you can, okay? There is an ambulance less than a block from here. You'll be safe there. "
As soon as she shooed them she turned back and went inside of the building. "Let me check the third floor one last time!" she said to Canary. "I'll be out as soon as I can!"
Jumping over some fallen scorched emberes she disappeared into the building.

"I just hope she isn't doing what I think she is doing.....Be carefull this building isn't going to hold up much longer." She heads outside with the little girl. A woman comes rushing to her crying and takes the girl from her and thanks her for saving her baby. Dinah smiled at her and went back into the building. She stayed near the door to help usher people out. The floor above her started to crack. "gypsy we don't have any more time get out now!" Canary helped a few more people out and grabbed a little boy that was lagging behind and went outside.

"What do you think she could be doing??"
She stopped, noticing a wall of fire now in front of her. She gasped weakly and yelled through the smoke. "Hello!? Is anyone there!?"
Shielding her face, she ran through the flames and quickly patted the few flames coming from her jacket off.
Gypsy caught sight of someone on the floor of the building reaching out.
"Hang on!" she called out as she kicked a piece of wood blocking her path. "I'll be out in a second--! I found someone.... trapped." she told Dinah.
Kneeling down she proceeded to move the large piece of timber holding the man down. "You have to scoot your leg out." she told him quickly, pushing harder on it.
With the heat of the fire on her back the man was able to get himself free.
"Th-- thank you." he smiled as he offered a hand to her. "We should be leaving this place too."
Taking the man's hand, Gypsy stood and nodded. "I agree." She pushed the man in front of him. "Go, quickly!"
Racing behind the man, they criss crossed through the corridors. Gypsy pulled the man's arm and directed him in the opposite direction. "This way--" Seeing the wall of fire in frotn of them that had blocked her path before, she turned to the man. "Just cover your face and RUN. You'll be fine, I promise. Ready? Go!"
Within an instant the both of them were on the other side of the flames and rushing out of the building. Breathing heavily, soot on her face, she smiled to Canary. "Miss me?"

"calculator is obsessed with finding out who she is, He may be using something to get her to come out and reveal herself to him....which if that is true it is going to cause us a lot of problems...." She sets the little boy down and he runs to his parents. Gypsy runs out just as the building starts to collapse. Dinah smiled at her. "nice timing.....I guess we should get Ravager somewhere safe and go see where we are needed." Dinah limped slightly over to Ravager. Prometheus really did a number on her knee.

She really didn't like the sound of that. "There must be a reason if it was her that you saw. ... that does not make sense."
Gypsy nodded to Canary and followed her from the building, dusting off her pants as she went. "I always try to make for a flashy entrance." she grinned. "I do hope that was flashy enough?"
She then glanced back over to where she Ravager had been. " Where exactly IS a so called 'safe' place? There are hardly any in this city at the moment."

"The Clocktower I guess....Though I don't even know if that is safe anymore....." She checked Ravager over again.
"next year I am spending new years on some island where I will be sipping Mai Tai's on the beach not having to worry about the world exploding" Canary looked around for an abandoned car, she really didn't feel like carrying Ravager all the way to the clocktower. Her body was starting to give out as it was.
"Do you know how to hotwire a car?"

"I think I'll second that. I'm thinking Maui?"
Gypsy gave her a look, her grin turning solid. "Oh come now. This is me we're talking about. Of course I know how to hotwire a car." Pulling a pin from her hair she showed her. "Multi-use these things are. They're helpful at times."
Making her way over to the car that Canary was eyeing, she jammed her hairpin into the lock, managing to work it in a fashion to allow the door to pop right pen. "I somehow don't thinkt hat the owners will mind if we borrow this."

"I would have to agree on that, not like they will be using it anytime soon." She watches Gypsy do her thing. "your going to have to teach me that sometime" She grinned at her.
"So where do you think we should head after we drop Ravager off? Should we return here and look for Oracle or stay in the middle of the city helping out where we can?

Imagine it's Christmas morning, better then that, but we'll use Christmas for the sake of ease. You just got the one thing you wanted more then anything in the world, the one thing you thought you'd never get. Next thing you know your eye is getting shot out. He was sure it was a movie, but it matched his current feelings pretty well. He couldn't even enjoy knowing that he had been so close to Oracle, mere inches at Penguin's damned party! And that she was a cripple, before Batman had to ruin things. Honestly, did he think that Noah was bluffing about being able to know if someone tried something? The tights wearing idiot. Noah was akin to a God, it'd take more then an idiot with a mid-life crisis to stop him. Ripping up part of the GCPD's rooftop molding, there was plenty destroyed and damaged to be found, he flung it up into the air, having sensed the weapons, calculated the best angle to block and implemented his plan in only a few milliseconds. The joys of being part computer. Watching as the concrete and batarang connected and the weapon fell useless to the ground, not damaged but of no use to anyone as Noah would have to be mighty distracted not to notice someone picking it up, he allowed his rage to escape.
"Do you think me an idiot? A liar? I told you all, very clearly not to come, I told you I would know, and yet you did anyway? Do you want these two men to die Batman? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU JUST DID!"
Reaching down, he pulled both men free from where they had been tied and held them out and in front of him, raised off the ground like two shields, his hands around their necks. Neither man moved for fear of inadvertently cutting off his own supply of air.
"Now you both get to decide. One last game Babs, can I call you Babs? Pick who dies first, your father or Timmy's. Choose you red-headed moron! Because it's endgame and i've just won!"

Gypsy shook her head, dusting a bit of the debris off from her coat that was now tattered, scorched, and torn. "I... am not sure. Perhaps get in touch with Ora-- um.. someone... that would know a proper place to drop her off for the proper attention." She thought for a moment. "Would Nightwing know? Do we even know that he is alright?"
Gypsy's glittering eyes turned back tot he city that seemed to be engulfed in flames. "We go where the cries are." she said simply, turning back to her..
***
Barbara's proto computer beeped on her arm for attention. She was more than sure that her agents needed her in some way, shape, and form, and there was just no way that she could respond to their calls. Not right now, anyway. She did have to wonder if her weak signal reached any nearby operatives... other than Batman.
She was crossing her fingers for a an Emerald Corp. member but she had a feeling that John was busy returning Flash to the Watchtower for medical attention.
Watching Calculator's metallic body, she shuddered. It was then that the unstable roof that she was sitting on began to found for the tale-tale sounds of breakage. Sounds which she didn't care too much to hear.
She looked over her shoulder and down to the jagged and ruptured pavement below. She was still sitting pretty on Calculator's hovering disc, but the minute he lost control, she could easily be at his mercy, not to mention the mercy of the floor.
She had no desire to become street pizza.
With the wind picking up speed, she gritted her teeth. She only hoped Batman could move fast enough.
Her right hand now secured around one of a batarang. Even though she was bound to her wheelchair, her aim was just as good as it had been before, back when she was running around in the cape and cowl. Her technique now, was, of course, more refined now and could hit it's target dead center. She hadn't missed yet. She took careful aim to Calculator and kept her back firm, ready to launch if he moved the wrong way.
Computer or not, he still had circuitry. He could be damaged if she hit the right spot. But which spot?
Closing her eyes briefly, her brain jolted with a spark. The motherboard. Fry the motherboard, destroy the computer.
Simple logic!
Calculator wanted her to choose between the two men that struggled for their lives before her. She couldn't have a hand. "TAKE ME!!" she shouted in pure rage. Maybe she could stall to allow Batman more time to get closer. All he needed was a second or two.
She pressed a button on her protocom to allow a direct link of her voice into Batman's cowl. She whispered: "Destroy the motherboard." Most of the time she and Bruce thought on the same lines. She had a feeling he would gain wind of what she was trying to tell him. She cut the line and spoke louder, to Calculator.
Usually it was the villain of the hour who gave the 'end game' speach. Not this time.
"Do you have such a complex about you that you have to rely on others to do your bidding, NOAH? You could never do anything for yourself. You always had to be the sad, sorry little boy in the corner crying because he was always the last one picked for gym class.
"You hid. You stayed immobile in your corner until you found ways to manipulate those around you to do what you could only dream of doing. Always the one on the bench. ALWAYS the one on the sidelines.
"How did that make you feel? Did it make you feel small? Did it make you feel like a worthless piece of shit tossed out with yesterday's garbage? You think that all of this so called 'power' you've received makes you the top jock on campus?
"Despite what you may think you are a grade 'A' noob, with a classification of uber lame! You're still the same sorry, sad little boy in the corner who's crying in the corner wishing he could use the big boy's bathroom but realizes he CAN'T because he'll never home up to those around him that are man enough to do the deeds he only WISHES of dreaming.
"You've got the girl, Kuttler." She paused, a partial smirk rose to the corner of her lips. She spoke darkly, "Don't take it up the ass."

"I haven't heard anyone over the coms in awhile.....not even sure if it is still working or even if the tower is still standing....Maybe we should just drop her off at a hospital. I know they are more then crowded but she doesn't seem to have any serious injuries but in case I am wrong at least she would be somewhere where they could help her."

Orders. It wasn't that he had a problem following them, but he did have a problem with dumb orders. Did anyone ask if he knew where they wanted him to go? Of course not, let's just assume that the guy who wasn't from Gotham just knew his way around the city. Not even a regular city now, but one that looked like a scene from someone's mental imaging of hell. He didn't know one end from the other. So he decided to take his own mission underway. He knew where a few places were, heck everyone knew Wayne tower, but he doubted it'd be helpful. Now the GCPD station, that was something he knew. So yeah, he bailed a guy he knew out once, but that was awhile ago. Besides, he was just a few moments away from the building. With a quick change of direction, he began to run in the direction of what he thought would be the best place for him to go.
A few moments later, he was standing in front of the GCPD headquarters. Or to be more exact, what was left of it. It looked like someone had tried to gut it with a bomb and they did one hell of a good job at it. Looks like it was time to try and find whereever it was that Oracle had wanted him to go. And he would have, if the flying debris from the room didn't get his attention. Rubble soaring through the air, what sounded like angry voices? Yeah that couldn't be a good thing. Looking around, he noticed that most of the building next to GCPD was standing and the fire escape was almost right along side. Well that worked for him. Running over and grabbing onto the ladder, Owen began to make his way up, wondering what the hell he was going to find.
