She gave out a weak laugh. "Oh.. pfft! You wish. We'll see who comes out victorious either way."
Managing to get the wound clean she placed the cloth down on her thigh, and started opening drawers. "Do you know where I put the super glue?" she called out after a few moments.

"Umm what do you need superglue for?" She stuck her head out of the kitchen. She wasn't sure she wanted to know

Barbara's hand pushed back some of the things that were being concealed in the drawer. "For this... cut. I really don't feel like sewing my own skin together. Super glue will work just fine. It's... a little deeper than I originally thought."

"why don't I just take you to the doctor or hospital or something? putting superglue on an open wound like that does not sound nice...."

"Because... then they're going to ask questions and maybe they'll think I'm crazy and send in a psychiatrist... plus it's a hassle and there's no need. Super glue is a very effective means of sealing up wounds. I used to use it when running around in the cape and cowl... Bruce uses it... we all do. However, it can't be used all the time. It would depend on how severe the wound is in the first place."
Barbara frowned, shutting the drawer and opened up the medicine chest, eventually finding what she needed. "Nevermind! I've got it!" she yelled back. "
Taking careful pride, she made sure her stab wound was clean enough before applying the glue to the cut itself and pressed it closed, allowing it to bond.
Diverting her eyes, she leaned her head back, her eyes watching the ceiling.
Did this really come from that freak-show dream? Or was it something else?
Shaking her head she grabbed the bits of gauze and placed it over her wound, securing it in place with medical tape. Cleaning up thing sin the bathroom, she returned to her bedroom and pulled on a clean shirt and rolled her chair over to the far window, her eyes inspecting the sill.
It.. didn't look like anyone had forced their way in. Everything appeared just as she had left it before. Even with it's small thin layer of dust sitting there.
Pushing herself backward, she made her way tot he opposite side of the bed and called out once more. "Hey Dinah? Are you busy?" She paused a moment. "Could you help me here? And bring a flashlight!"

"Well.. nothing yet.." She pointed to the bars and beans that were attached to the ceiling. "Do you think you could hop up on the bed up there and see if any of the bolts are missing?"

"sure can" she climbed up on the bed and examined all around the area. "I don 't see anything...in fact I don't see anything in this room that could cut you like that"

Barbara was running out of possible explanations at this point. She folded her arms over her chest as she watched Dinah continue to shine her light on the equipment above her.
"That's.... so strange..." she murmured.
Speaking a bit louder, she smiled. "Thank you, by the way.
"Maybe my computers can find something.... they're my last resort at this point." she yawned.
"Thanks again, Dinah. I appreciate the help."

"Don't worry about it...You know I am always here for ya......You want me to check under the bed for the boogeyman?" She couldn't resist it. She did her best to hold in her laughter.

Barbara chuckled just faintly. "The boogeyman, Dinah?"
She considered it, just for amusement's factor and gave her a nod. "Could you check the closet too?" she joked.

Barbara giggled weakly internally at that and nodded her thanks to her. "Thank you, Dinah. I don't know what I'd do without ya."
Her head suddenly perked, feeling the cold air blowing at the back of her neck. Almost.. as if someone had just walked passed her.
Strange...
Shaking her head, figuring it was just nerves, she turned back to Dinah. "So... how do you feel about some bacon and eggs?"
