Flipping through a series of papers sprawled out amongst her desk, Barbara Gordon grumbled in hopeless defeat. "I know it's here somewhere..." She continued to shuffle through the papers, searching for a particular name.
Glancing up to one of her monitor's she had plugged into the local news station, she caught sight of a a few words that caught her eye.
Squinting, she scooted herself closer to the glowing screen. "Terminal four: Replay--rewind; thirteen seconds. Play." She waited as the voice command picked up the instruction and rewound the newscast to thirteen seconds previous and then replayed.
Now this was interesting. Tapping the earpiece on the side of her ear, she activated it's 'on' status.. "Huntress--?"
Making her way back to her terminal, her fingers slid over her holo-screens. "How busy are you right now?"

Hearing the familiar voice suddenly in her ear, Helena admittedly flinched - she had to get used to this again. After returning to Gotham, being wired was one of the many small details that had to be re-habituated.
"Frankly, not at all," she replied, "Either it's a slow night or I'm just not in the right place," She absent-mindedly tossed the bag she had recently knocked out of a thug's hands back to its rightful owner.
"'Couple small-timers, but nothing worth squat as far as my attention span - what've you got for me?"

Running her fingers through her hair, she pinpointed Huntress' location on her grid system. Taking a moment to think, she estimated how long it would probably take her to get to the desired location she had pin-pointed out.
She remained silent on the com-line for a few moments longer before speaking to the voice in her ear. "I'm sure your memory is good enough to remember the daughter of Deathstroke, right?"
She paused a moment as if she were expecting Helena to answer. "Anyway--" she interrupted. "Watching the news, a small bit of information slid by my screen that I thought might be worth checking out.
"I'm sending you last coordinates of where the report was taken. Would you mind taking a look around? If it's possible, I'd like to keep the surrounding area as quiet as possible... if you catch my drift."

It had been another slow night, I guess that was really a good thing for Gotham just made it somewhat boring for Canary as she searched for any kind of action. After patroling for sometime she finally found a group of thugs trying to rob a young couple. Finally..... Unfortunatly for Dinah the fight didn't last long as they were obviously new to the whole bad guy thing. After taking down the last guy she decided to head to the rooftops to see if she could spot anything from there.
Making her way up the fire escape she finally found herself atop the roof of a apartment complex downtown. Scouting around she spotted someone on an adjacent rooftop she definetly didn't expect. Canary silently made her way closer doing her best not to be sure to make sure her eyes were not messing with her. As she closed in her suspecions were confirmed. Ravager.....
"Oracle...did you know that Ravager was in town?"

Catching wind of what Dinah had mentioned in her ear, she perked an eyebrow. Did she just say what she thought she heard? Did Dinah just mention the name 'Ravager?'
Maybe her hearing was off. She had to make sure. "Can you say that one more time, Dinah? I thought you said something about Ravager?"

*Rose silently stood atop a large building in Gotham. Why she was there? She wasn't quite sure herself. Needless to say that most Gothamites were ripe for the picking. Rich to say the least. The wind was calm but still provided a bit of cool relief to the beads of sweat forming against the back of her neck. She was dressed in her full Ravager garb, mask and all. It was what she was known for and regardless of the fact that the costume itself reminded her of her father, the man she hated, she wore it anyway. Maybe it was because she still longed for that small connection to him. Maybe it was because the costume itself just worked. She pursed her ruby red lips and continued to study her surroundings. She'd been here before but now she was going to make this city her main base of operations. It was a nice city to be in.*
*Below her, the rustle and bustle of the nightlife echoed up into her ears. She smirked, thinking about everything she was planning. Rose never intended to take over any cities, kill random citizens, or even go around robbing people blind although she could. She did what she wanted to and what she had to in order to get by and--to be frank--make herself happy. If that meant being an assassin for a while then so be it. If it meant robbing one bank every now and again, she'd do it. Little did Rose know that tonight she wasn't alone and that the heroes in Gotham were on edge. More then likely, she would be approached soon.*

Dinah moved a little closer doing her best to keep silent. "yes Ravager, I'm looking at her right now. She's up on the roof on the apartment complex adjacent to me...What the hell is she doing here?" Last time Dinah had encountered Ravager they were fighting side by side to save this city but Dinah knew her intentions were not that tonight. Probably the only thing they still had in common were there Hatred for the girls father. Dinah still owed him a good ass kicking after there last encounter. "so Oracle do you want me to continue to speculate why she is here and keep an eye out or go find out?"

"Can you give me visuals?" she asked, trying to fine tune to Dinah's specific frequency.
Inside, she really had to wonder what Ravager's intentions were to consist of. If anything, she seemed all over the place these days and her actions held more confusion than any. One day you'd hear of her saving the city and then robbing some kind of business the next.
Barbara had to wonder if she was confused or just trying to act out for attention....maybe both.
"Keep trailing her." she said to Black Canary. "Follow her, don't let her see you. See what she does. She's been quite the wildcard as of late."

"you know i'm starting to run out of room for your little thingy majigs. Its not like I have a lot of pocket space...." Dinah turned on her visuals so Oracle can see whats going on and moves a little closer to Ravager.
"well so far she is an easy tail as well she hasn't moved..."

*Rose kept a sharp eye out for any movements or heroes approaching her. She wasn't about to be ambushed and if she was...she'd deal with it accordingly. The night seemed to get a tad darker, the hour growing later and later by the moment or so it seemed. She looked around casually, making note of her surroundings once more. In the corner of her eye, she saw movement. Growling under her breath slightly she quickly clenched her fists but retained her calm composure. She didn't want to let the person know that she spotted them. Especially if that person wasn't worth the trouble of going over there and killing or even giving them a nice ass whopping. She slowly and casually reached for her swords then spun them around in her hands making it seem as if she was just playing around. Or course she wasn't. She just wanted to be prepared...*

Dinah did her best to stay hidden as she kept an eye out on her mark. The fact that she was just standing there not doing much of anything was either a good thing, or a really really bad thing. Canary tried to consider the different scenario's that could come about with her presence in Gotham. Most of them were not good... She watched as Ravager played around with her sword seeming to be cotemplating things.
"oracle are you sure you just don't want me to greet our newly arrived guest?"

She had to think a moment. If she gave the go ahead to Canary's inquiry the confrontation might turn out to be a little more than what she would have wanted but then again this WAS Ravager they were trailing. Something told her that she was already well aware of Canary's position.
"You might as well..." Barbara said after a long moment. "She's probably already seen you. try to make with the nice-nice though. last thing we want is Ravager upset to a point where she decides to spread the love around the city. She'll keep your hands full.... and I'm pretty sure you know of this already."

Dinah frowned slightly at the mention that she had given away her postion but rethought it as she was probably right. This was deathstrokes daughter after all. Not the easiest people to sneak up on. "you know me oracle, I love a good challange...and i'm always nice...." She smiles and moves from her postion and jumps across to the adjacent roof.
"so what brings you out on such a nice night here in Gotham?" Dinah did her best to not be to confrontational with her as she slowly approached. She really just wanted to feel her out a bit before getting down to the nitty gritty. "Been quite some times since i've seen you here around these parts."

*Rose continued to keep her cool, making sure that the stranger wasn't going to attack her and if she was--she was determined to be ready. Dinah jumped beside her and begin to speak, Rose kept herself levelheaded but smirked a tad. Honestly, she was surprised that the woman would be so brazin to approach her. Then again, Black Canary wasn't known for being subtle. Rose kept her eye straight ahead, not for a moment gracing Dinah with the dignity of speaking to her face to face.*
"I don't think that's any of your concern, Canary. But then you heroes always stick your noses where they don't belong. People have that nosy tendency truthfully."
*She looked over at Dinah finally, a serious look riddled upon her face. She pursed her lips before finally speaking.*
"Keep in mind if you get too close to a wild dog's face it will bite."

"see when its comes to you it is always a slight concern because i'm not sure if your here to help out and get my back or run your sword through it. You like to teter totter on that edge..." Dinah relaxed slightly but kept herself ready to dodge any attack she might feel like throwing, especially after her wild dog comment.
"so tell me....why do we owe the visit? you here for pleasure, sightseeing, trying to bring the city to its knees?" Dinah knew she was testing her limits with the girl but frankly that is one of the things she lived for. She had to do her job, why not have a little fun doing it.
